Volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to transport people who do not have access to suitable transport. This service is primarily for health-related appointments, such as hospital and surgery visits, eye tests, and other essential well being journeys. We need at least 2 working days notice of your appointment. We will then arrange for one of our volunteer drivers to pick you up, take you to your destination and bring you home again. Community Car journeys are costed at 45 pence per mile.
